Merge MP3 files into one
An MP3 joiner that runs in this tab. Add the tracks, order them, and get a single MP3 back.

Drop two or more MP3 files to merge (other formats work too)
Mixed formats and sample rates are fine. You can also drag a file here or paste it.
To merge MP3 files: choose them below, sort them with the arrows, then press Join and export MP3. The joined file is encoded once at 192 kbps by default, and your files never leave the device.
Step by step
- Choose two or more MP3 files, or drop them on the box. They open on this device.
- Put them in order with the ↑ ↓ buttons.
- Optional: add a crossfade (music) or a short gap (speech).
- Press Join and export, then Download (or Share on a phone). The result is one MP3 file.
Why not just glue the files together?
Each MP3 is a stream of frames with its own header and often an ID3 tag and encoder padding. Byte-gluing two files (the old “copy /b” trick) usually plays, but leaves a tiny gap or click at the join, wrong duration in some players and the second file’s tags in the middle of the audio.
AudioKit decodes every file, joins the samples (with the crossfade or gap you choose) and encodes one clean MP3. That is one extra lossy pass, which is inaudible at 192 kbps and above. If the files have different sample rates, they are resampled to the highest one first.
Which bitrate to export
Use the highest bitrate among your source files: there is no benefit in going higher. For audiobooks and voice notes, 96–128 kbps is plenty; for music, 192–320 kbps.

Questions people ask
How do I combine MP3 files for free?
Add the MP3s above, order them, and press Join and export MP3. There is no sign-up, watermark or file limit, because the work happens in your browser.
Can I merge MP3 files without losing quality?
The join re-encodes once. At 192 kbps or more, nobody can reliably hear that extra pass. If you need zero additional loss, export WAV or FLAC instead of MP3.
Can I merge MP3s on an iPhone or Android phone?
Yes. Open this page in Safari or Chrome, tap Choose files, pick the MP3s from Files or Downloads, and tap Share or Download when it’s done.
How many MP3 files can I join?
As many as your device’s memory allows. Decoded audio uses about 10 MB per stereo minute, so a phone can usually join an hour or two of audio.
Can I add a pause between the MP3s?
Yes. Drag “Gap between files” to insert 0.5 to 5 seconds of silence at each join, or use “Crossfade” to blend one track into the next.
